Published on April 4th 2015, the "Apocalypse Blue" lookbook by Kojima, Okayama based brand KAPITAL tells the story of the rainy season the summer collection is partially inspired by. Rain – or water for that matter – is often depicted as blue, which is where the story ties in with indigo dyes. As one of the oldest and most important dyeing colors in the world, indigo is widely utilized for this collection and appears on denims, chambrays and many other fabrics.
The book offers a glimpse into the themes and the spirit of the collection. It includes the seasonal lookbook and a closer look at a lot of new items that Kiro Hirata released under his KAPITAL brand.
Attached to this lookbook came a small extra lookbook for the womens "Rain" collection, in which styling suggestions (last 2 images) are presented in a fun way.
The condition of the books is excellent. The cover is detached from the first page, but the integrity of the entire book is in tact.
