Camouflage Corduroy Pants
Brand: The North Face Purple Label
Made in China
Materials: 60% Cotton 40% Polyester
This incredible pair of pants by the Japan-exclusive The North Face Purple Label has a particularly interesting "fading" effect. While most garments loose their color over time, these pants become more vibrant and saturated the older they get. The white corduroy fibers sit on top of the camouflage pattern, making the piece look faded and washed out from the get go. Once these fibers deteriorate, especially around high pressure areas like the pockets, the true color of the camo underneath is revealed, creating this reverse fading effect.
While there have been attempts to bring The North Face Purple Label out to the west, the sub-label, created by Eiichiro Homma and his brand nanamica, essentially still remains exclusive to Japan
Condition: The pants are in good condition. There are some signs of wear, but all of the hardware and details are in excellent condition. The unique fading effect makes them appear a bit older than they actually are.
