Spanning over a decade, at the time of this jacket's release in 2010, the Brotherhood series of collaborations between Shinsuke Takizawa's Neighborhood and A Bathing Ape's NIGO was one of the most emblematic examples of the communal character of the Urahara scene. Most of the owners of the brand's that were part of Urahara culture in 90s Tokyo knew each other and were friends beyond just business. This collaborative spirit between the big group of friends precedes today's collaboration mania and is another indicator for the revolutionary practices common in Urahara, proving again, that the movement was years ahead of its time.
Beautiful chainstitching graces the front and the back of the "Brotherhood Car Club" jacket, with a big car crash as the central design on the back. A nod to the New York Yankees comes in the form of a logo flip on the chest, where the N represents Neighborhood and the upside-down A stands for A Bathing Ape or Bape.
It is a lightweight jacket, perfect for spring and early fall/autumn.
